Apple has launched a dedicated Twitter account which will be used to promote some of its favorite applications for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. (Is the iPhone unlock among the favorite apps for Apple?)
Up until now, the @AppStore account was used by Apple to promote the Nike Training Club personal trainer app, puzzle game Tiki Towers 2: Monkey Republic and Whole Foods Market Recipes.
So far, 48,000 followers are on board, hanging on the App Store’s every tweet and hoping for some good offers.
